A groundbreaking Round the World voyage

When we receive our first Z1 hybrid airship in 2028, we will embark on an adventure like no other - a non-stop, unrefuelled, record-breaking Round the World flight taking in some of the greatest cities and natural wonders of the world.

With the objective of demonstrating the range, endurance and versatility of this new type of aircraft, the flight - fully documented and livestreamed - will capture public attention and inspire a new generation of aviators.

But the flight itself is only part of the story.

The Round the World Project is a multi-year endeavour. It begins long before the airship ever rolls out of the hangar, with behind-the-scenes content, media build-up, and a pre-flight promotional tour. And it doesn’t end with the return to base: this story continues with a post-tour programme of outreach, impact and legacy.

Straightline Aviation is uniquely positioned to achieve this milestone; our team has deep, collective experience of managing major record-breaking flights, including Sir Richard Branson’s headline-grabbing balloon adventures.

An unparalleled media and sponsorship opportunity

The Z1 hybrid airship, fully branded and livestreamed to the world 24/7, can cruise at low altitudes over some of the largest markets in the world.

But physical eyes on the airship represent just one part of the offer.

The real power lies in the broader campaign: the multi-year Round the World programme is a storytelling and sponsorship platform unlike anything else in aviation.

From the earliest demonstration flights to the headline-making circumnavigation, and through the post-tour media wave, brands will have exclusive opportunities to partner with us at every stage. For high-impact visibility, purpose-driven alignment and deep audience engagement, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to join a truly iconic mission.

Further details and a dedicated website will be published in due course, but to discuss sponsorship or media partnership please contact:
